This was another dress I must have taken out of my cart 20+ times. They only had it in an xs and I usually take J.Crew dresses in a S. I decided to take a chance as dresses can be hit and miss and J.Crew dresses do tend to run larger in my opinion. I'm glad I took the chance as it is actually perfect! A little shorter than what I'd usually wear, but the curved hem makes it easier for me to get over that. The fabric is really nice and the ties on the sleeves are a great detail. For reference, I'm 5'2 and generally a size 4. I agree with another review in that pockets would be nice, but I actually think not having them works in it's favor and helps it hang really nicely. Definitely don't sleep on this one and just add it to your cart now!

I am very petite but curvy and this did not button up in the middle section. I would have to lose about 20 pounds to even fit into this. I am very disappointed since it is such an elegant dress and the color is so beautiful. This is better suited for a very thin woman with absolutely no extra fat in the stomach area.

I have a smaller frame (34B)/123lbs, and I think this was just overwhelming on me. I purchased a size small. I think if I was curvier, it would be much more suitable. I felt like I was drowning a bit.
