The new straight-leg cargo pant

I ordered these in the olive color, one size up as I wasn't sure how these would fit. When I tried these on initially, it had a higher rise, and the length and width of the pant leg was larger than I anticipated (due my ordering one size bigger). These pants were not flattering at all. I ended up rolling the pant legs up for a slouchy look and and now I love them! they are so comfortable and great for summer when I don't feel like wearing shorts. I wear these all the time now.

I got these on sale for casual wear. I love having extra pockets, etc. They are well made and seem durable but the fit is very odd. The biggest problem is that the waistband is up to my braline! They also run very large, so if I were to push them down so the waistband is actually at my waist the crotch then would be around mid-thigh. I can still wear them for what I intended, it is just a really strange fit.

Based on other reviews I ordered a size smaller. The pants are still way too big. Unfortunately I purchased on a final sale. I'm going to have to donate them. They are falling off me. Bummed.

I generally love J. Crew pants. As a rule, they fit well, wear well, and last. I found these did not fit. They are described as high waist, which I expected, but the waist was quite small and the butt too loose. I bought them final sale, so they will be given away or donated. Better luck next time!

I love these pants. Super comfortable while also being very flattering. I’m 5’6” 130, athletic build, and the size 27 is a bit roomy around waist but otherwise fit great. They do stretch out a bit at waist after wearing so if you have less muscular legs you might want to consider sizing down.

These are easy inexpensive cargos that are comfy. I bought both olive and navy. It's stupid to have them in navy, because they only make sense, and only look good in olive. The navy ones are for my pandemic fat body that nobody has to see.
