Metallic pullover sweatshirt

I liked the style and lightweight material. I bought small when I'm usually xs but it's still felt snug in shoulders. I wish I can exchange. It's sold out so I just gave it to my daughter.

I really like this top. It’s the sweatshirt yum feel, yet the sparkly touch and more fitted look make it wearable to work on a regular day!

i usually have loved jcrew sweatshirt but this one....its just the sleeves are too tight, the body too loose, the neck line drops a little more that all my tones of others that i have, honestly i dont know what happened with the pattern of this one!

I was skeptical about the size and washing. But I put I on with a pair of deep denim colored jeans and layered it with blue vest. OMG gosh but it worked well and I got a few compliments. So I was very pleased and the size was okay but if you’re looking for a looser fit. Cold wash and the color was great! It’s sparkle well nicely at night! The bling is the new navy!

This sweartshirt turned out to be very ugly in real life. Now I know why it was on sale for so little money. I gave it to the Goodwill as I could not return it.

For the record, I’m pretty much obsessed with J. Crew. Most of my closet is J.Crew and I purchase J.Crew clothing regularly. I own quite a few sweatshirts from J.Crew and this one caught my eye because of the metallic detailing. I thought it would be an elevated sweatshirt that I could dress up. I purchased it in both navy and gray. To begin with, it runs very small, so definitely size up. Don’t even chance it. Secondly, I found the material to feel cheap. Like a sweatshirt I could buy at Target for a fraction of the price. Maybe it’s due to the the metallic threading, or whatever was used for the metallic effect, but it just doesn’t feel like a solid J. Crew piece as far as quality. There are FAR better J. Crew pieces to spend your money on. As great as it looks on the website and on the model wearing it, this piece is just meh.
