Stretch-wool cropped cable-knit cardigan sweater

I ordered the cream in a small and normally I wear an XS or S depending on the style (5'5", 120lbs, 34B). The bottom of the sweater is fitted, and the sleeves are long and full, but it looks pretty close to how it's pictured on the model. I liked the sweater enough to order the black version, since it was on sale. Unfortunately, the black was disappointing. The wool looks more matted, and difficult to see the details of the sweater in the darker color, plus the black showed and picked up every piece of lint. I was constantly picking fuzz off my sweater.

This sweater is so lovely! I bought it in both colors in a Small, although I’m an XS normally. I think it fits tts according to the description, but I also feel like going up a size works too. the XS would have fit as well…meaning I went up a size and it’s slightly roomy but not too big either. Make sense? I think this will depend on the look you’re going for. The sweater is very soft and super cozy. Not scratchy AT ALL! (I’m 5-1”, 117lbs, 32C)

Purchased in a Medium and am glad that I did. Sometimes I size up from my usual JCrew Small to a Medium (5'5, 130lbs, 36B), and I'm glad that I did so here as I like a bit of room in my sweaters; the Medium in this provided just the right amount of room. (Additional Context: I am a Size 4-6 in button ups/blouses and some sweaters where the Small runs large, but I'm finding the cropped sweaters of this season to run a bit smaller.) Material is a bit itchy but nothing so bad. LOVE the design - looks like a high-quality Irish sweater.

I was so excited for this cardigan to arrive. Not thrilled. Should have read fabrics details…acrylic is first fiber listed. Description should read stretch acrylic, not stretch wool. Sized up to medium from small, as style is cropped.

Ordered this to pair with things for the winter, so it serves the purpose, but the waist is definitely smaller than expected. If you plan to button it, size up! The material is super soft though and the appearance is cute. It sheds a bit, I can't wear it with the white wool skirt I planned to.

This is a beautiful sweater but the quality just isn’t there. I’m very disappointed as J. Crew is typically my staple for basics. It started pilling immediately, already has a hole at a seam and I only wore it three times over other sweaters for the thanksgiving holiday.
