Slim wide-leg jean in Bourbon wash

Right out of the package it was perfect in every way! I have tried so many brands that offer the wide leg denim and this was the ONLY pair that ticked all the boxes for me! Looks both dressed up with a button-down or casual with a tee.

This piece is an absolute gem - very trendy, flattering, nice fabric and wash! Love the high waist and wide-leg style which is the wide done right! I loved this jeans so much that I even made a day trip to Buffalo from Toronto, Canada to get the same style in white as, unfortunately, JCrew has stopped taking international orders. JCrew - when are you going to resume your international services? Canada is not that far away from the US, and you don't want to lose your loyal customers. Better option: reopen your stores in Toronto!

Curvy ladies listen up! These are the best J.Crew jeans I've ever tried by far. I'm curvy (hips/butt/thighs) with a shorter torso so it's rare that I find jeans I love, especially higher waisted ones. I couldn't believe that I got these in my true size (31), ON SALE, and they fit like a glove with no alterations needed. Perfect thickness and stretch - they're comfy but really hold you in like a rigid jean. Perfect blue wash. Perfect length (I'm 5'5.) Flattering back pockets. They seem to be really good quality so fingers crossed that they hold their shape! Please don't stop making these, J.Crew! Would love these in ecru and black as well.

Most all of my J Crew denim is size 31. I ordered both 31 and 32, the 32 arrived first and with the bit of stretch it fits me well albeit a bit sung in the waist, which is where I carry most of my weight. I will probably not be able to button the 31. I love the style, it's study denim and an elegant cut. Great for work or play. I think J Crew is moving away from vanity sizing so I am considering ordering 33 just to see..

An outlier opinion these jeans: I agree the quality seems very good, they are stylish and the Bourbon wash is a versatile blue shade. However, I found them very heavy vs. most of my JCrew jeans and so would not work for me at all in warmer months. I bought my usual 25 and they ran big for me. I may try the petite size to determine if better proportions/length might be less objectionable. At 5'3, 110 lbs., I am on the cusp of Pet and Reg, but these were not comfortable as I feel jeans should be so the purchase would be impractical. I was looking forward to adding this on trend style to my large JCrew jean collection...bummer.

The denim used for these jeans is quite thick, more suitable for cooler seasons/climates. They stretch quite a bit so I had to exchange them for a size 28T. Otherwise they are well-made and versatile.
