Collection wide-leg pant with velvet

I'm 'curvy' but small: 32-22-33, 5' 6", and a 000 is usually perf. I listened to the reviews though, and sized up to a 00. A 00 1/2 probably would have been exact, and the 000 would have been OK, but I like comfort and the slightly larger size is like a super soft, super luxe pair of cozy pants. I 'used' the extra room by washing and machine drying, and that did it! Now they're slightly shorter (bc they were very long even with heels, my inseam is 32", and the velvet hem wasn't an easy alteration), and just flawless. Elegant, versatile, easy to wear, and just GUSHING compliments from people who spend a LOT more on clothes. I know not everyone agrees, but I don't come here for fast fashion. When I buy JC, I buy quality and I expect to wear it for decades. I still have solid 90s JC classics in rotation. More of that, please. Soft wools, Liberty silks: NOT 'engineered' poplin, poly, or ponte garbage.

Cute pants but very wide leg and high rise. Would have to wear w a heel and a lot of confidence to pull off! The bottom is thick velvet and they r long so I worry about hemming them. Pricey so going back

I love the fabric and the cut of the pants. If you are curvy go up a size, a very straight fit.
