Love the seersucker material…
July 21, 2022…fit is good, though a bit oversized in the waist. So the elastic is barely stretched, and you need to tie the waist strings to keep them from falling off (if you care about that). I went by the size guide, got XL, though I’m normally between 36 and 38 waist….these were loose, on 6’0” 210lb frame. Still variable to figure out JCrew sizing….sweaters seem to run small, this ran large, shirts seem about right on. Still love the brand…rated a 4 for the sizing challenge.

Nice trunks, poor choice of material
July 5, 2021Received this as a gift from my girlfriend. They fit great (i'm a 33 waist, 165 pounds, 6' tall) and they look good. The problem is they DO NOT DRY. The fabric is mostly cotton which is not great for swim use. Not a problem if 1) you never get out of the pool/lake/ocean or 2) if you take them off immediately. But if you imagine drying off while wearing them (or even hanging up to dry later) you better be patient.
