Curvy high-rise '90s classic straight jean in Scuttle wash

Tl;dr these jeans are perfect, get them! Other reviews mentioned these jeans being very oversized but I ordered my normal size for jeans with no stretch (one size up) and they are perfect! They fit me like a glove and they are surely going to be my new favorites! The pockets are sewn to the zipper well, so you get a great lay flat effect. At 5’9 I think I would have appreciated the fall size but it was sold out, the regular will do just fine!

These jeans are my favorite pair of jeans from the J Crew Brand. As a plus size masculine of center woman, the fit for me is perfect!

I have been on the hunt for that classic straight-leg-high-waist-light-wash jean for months and these are IT! They're so comfortable and actually fit my body (long torso, small waist, shorter athletic legs). My waist is actually 27 inches at the smallest part (hips 38-ish, around 128lbs); the 26 regular was a little loose and long and seemed to overwhelm my frame, but probably fit me as they were intended to. The 26 petite was loose in the waist and tight in the butt. The 25 regular fits just how I like: snug and high in the waist, with a little extra room in the hips/thighs and the perfect length right at the ankle bone. The fabric looks like rigid old school denim, but they give a little and are so comfortable. I am IN LOVE and cannot wait for it to cool off for cropped sweaters and clogs. GET THESE JEANS.

I love the high waist and the feel of the denim. Perfect color and just the right weight of the fabric and just a touch of stretch. I’m knocking one star off for the fit issues…based on the size chart I ordered a 37. It’s not my usual size in other brands, but I went on the measurements. The 37 were HUGE on me. On the advise of a really nice store associate I ordered a 36 and 35 to try and the 35 ended up being the right size. I am more of an apple shape, so for me these jeans fit nicely in the waist with a little roomy look in the hip and thighs. I was surprised the size chart was so far off and personally don’t care about the number on my label as long as the clothes fit me correctly. Also at 5’6” I will either roll these or have them hemmed to have the length fit as shown on the model. The 35 is good and I’m keeping them and see them becoming a staple for me weekend wardrobe.

I would agree with the other reviews that these run a full size large. I’ve been ordering 31s since the covid 15 and I could have easily gone back to my former size 30 in these. They were also pretty long on me, I’m 5’4 and they were touching my feet. I’m more of a cropped or ankle jean person so I ended up keeping them in a size 31 petite (perfect in the length and the waist!). Regardless, these jeans are very classic, very on trend right now, and very comfortable even without a ton of stretch. I love the wash of them too, they are the perfect shade of light jeans. I’ll be wearing them with everything!

I am a size 18/20 so went with 35 since they are jcrew and and also non stretch. Woah. Humongous. I had to cuff them which was fine but the rise & waist gap was extremely too much. And I am well endowed in the backside for lack of better phrasing. Re-purchased in 34 hoping those will fit - eager for them to arrive. I can’t imagine being a 33. …the 35 looked like I had on my dads jeans. Hope the second try goes right.
