Wishing for a tall version
August 4, 2023The dress hits below the knees on the model but on me it's above the knees. As a result of that the proportion doesn't look quite right. Other than that it's a really cute dress. I'm 5'9'' for reference.

Beautifully constructed, broad shouldered
June 30, 2023The quality of the dress, tailoring, etc. is really top notch. I am curvy, so that part was perfect. I am small shouldered, however, so ended up having to take the upper dress apart to reposition under the arms and the back zipper. If you’re curvy & broad-shouldered, this will be perfect for you. (Even the model in the pictures shows it too big through the shoulder/under arm/bust area). I would have liked to purchase this in a petite, but JCrew doesn’t make petite sizes for larger women, that’s a whole other discussion, however. Good thing I know how to sew.

Lovely and Chic Summer Dress
June 9, 2023I do love this dress because you can dress it up or down with accessories. The only issue I had was the fit on the top, it was puckering out at the top of the zipper. I tried a smaller size but it was too tight. I kept my original size and had alterations done so it would fit correctly. It was worth it!

Classic linen dress stands the time
May 13, 2023I ordered this dress in Peri size 12. Based on the way it fit the model I thought it would be a little longer. I did not see where tall size was offered on this dress. I'm 5'9 1/2" and typically prefer tall but liked the look of this so much I decided to try it. It fit a bit snuggly where other dresses same size are not as snug. The linen travelled well for a graduation in the south and a very quick steam removed any wrinkles. The color is classically elegant and I felt good wearing it. Another reviewer commented on the loose fitting chest area and I agree. It fit well while standing but when I sat down it pushed everything up and showed a bit more than I care to show. Even still, I would recommend this dress and if you're smaller than a 34D it may fit you better when seated. I feel I'll have this dress for a long time.

Stretch Linen Dress
