October 13, 2023I love this coat. It’s comparable to a trench but not lined. It is not for frigid temps but with a fairly heavy sweater this will be warm enough for Fall. It hits me mid thigh, I’m 5’4”.

September 19, 2023This jacket is a less-impressive version of one J.Crew had previewed a few years ago that had gorgeous piping and a removable lining (Please bring this back!!!!). This version is completely unlined (as mentioned, to be fair) but seems to be constructed well from a thick cotton. NOTE! There is a slight puff sewn in at the shoulder that is not photographed. I do not think this will cause any ballooning, but is likely there to keep the shoulder from puffing up weirdly. I do NOT think this runs small, but I do think that it has a shortened (bracelet) sleeve, like on the model. The body is TTS, if anything, slightly boxy. The arms are cut wide, likely to accommodate layering. (For reference I ordered my normal J. Crew outerwear size in XXS, I am 5'3, 115lbs).

Amazing jacket but runs small
September 13, 2023It is absolutely beautiful but runs a bit smaller than other Jcrew clothes, im 5’7 120” for reference and I’m usually a XS or XXS in Jcrew clothes, I wear an XS in the green waxed one of this jacket but need a small in this print, the shoulder area is more tailored and tighter so don’t size down!

Classic Handsome Jacket
September 10, 2023It's been too hot to wear this yet, but it is very good looking along with being practical- and the quality is great. The inside seams are bound- it's not lined, and it's roomy enough to go over sweaters even though I sized down. I usually need petite which this didn't come in, but it did not overwhelm me and the sleeves weren't too long- yay! Can't wait for Fall- I'm over all this heat. Oh, and the pockets which have flaps over them have a side entry also- great for dog treats!
