Devon zip-top tote

A good quality wardrobe staple; a classic. For me, this isn't large enough for a work or gym bag, but the perfect size for everyday use. It's not so big that things get lost, but big enough that I can throw in gloves/scarf, paperwork. The Old English Saddle color goes with everything. I love that it has some inside pockets. I also love that it has a top zipper, but mine is a little sticky and I can't just zip/unzip with one hand. I got the bag at a great price on sale so I won't bother to return it. If this had an outside slip pocket and little feet on the bottom, it would be THE perfect bag.

So glad I purchased this excellent quality and classic purse! It arrived well packaged and wrinkle free! It zips at the top and the zipper seems like it will hold up well over time (heavy duty metal). I wanted a slouchy, foldable purse, which could fit into a work backpack when empty. This is definitely the purse for that! However, the online photo shows a standalone tote with stiffer leather which could be misleading. This thick leather is soft and subtle with a noticeable grain/texture, which I prefer. Hope this helps you avoid any surprises! I myself am quite pleased with the purchase and will think of this brand for future purse purchases.

This bag can be used as a handbag or as a tote. It has a full zipper and is not too large. Also like that the bag does not have tassels or unnecessary hardware.

All of my bags are from J Crew, actually most of my clothes are too :). This bag is beautiful! I love that it zips, so if I’m traveling, all my belongings will are safe and secure. It’s big enough to fit my Dell computer. Love the pebbles leather as it does not scratch. It’s gorgeous and I got it on sale. (I have not had any problems with the zipper like a few other reviewers stated. Maybe that’s been fixed?) Thanks J Crew!

I just got this in the mail today and its exactly as described. I think this tote could double as a school tote (fits my 13 inch macbook with a several large moleskins), has two reasonably sized pockets, 1 large zipper pocket AND a regular everyday tote. The bag is soft and is exactly the color that is shown. A little lighter than regular leather totes I have but I am hoping that it will darken over time. I wish the straps were a little bit more wider but I don't plan on using this for school stuff but probably for regular everyday use. I got the bag in the saddle brown color and it will go with everything I have.
