The carryall tote

Well priced unlined leather bag in attractive brown cinnamon/ nutmeg hue. Seems sturdy as well as refined;thinner straps and a bonus zip leather pouch for accessories! Not so voluminous as to overwhelm a smaller person, and not heavy or stiff. Indeed, it is a floppy and thinnish leather bag, but appears well sewn. Def worth the clearance price in a fine leather! Noted here is a slightly irregular seam, but still a quality piece.

I was expecting much higher quality leather. Technically it is leather but it’s very processed. The size is nice and the bag is well made but the leather quality makes it look cheap.

I am really disappointed in the quality of this bag. I had hoped for a beautiful saddle leather bag - exactly what was pictured/described on the site. Instead, what arrived is something that looks as though it has been painted brown. It smells like leather, but aside from that I am not convinced. I've known JCrew to have good quality items so I monogrammed this bag. Unfortunately, that now simply means I can't return. I picked this over a similar bag from another retailer and I regret it. Bummer all around.

Nice lightweight tote in smooth leather. I like that it is simple and smooth on the outside but would have liked to see a base and inside section. I ended up buying an inside tote organizer for the inside to keep my things organized. I wanted to buy again in another color but J Crew wouldn’t honor sale price I bought original tote.

This bag is lovely and light so perfect for carrying your laptop etc for those days when you’re in the office. I like that it’s not adding extra weight to your shoulders with the bag itself. I also love the minimal features and zero logos, I think this bag will last with me for years and stay in style :)

This is a catch all that can hold its own. Mine is navy. I like the pouch that is detachable. It is over the should comfort even if your shoulders are above average. Go for it! This is a purchase future you will be glad she made.
