Sheath dress in colorful gingham

No need for me to think twice about this beautiful red pink dress, fits like a glove and I wish all my J.Crew dresses were tailored in this style. No need in this dress to add extra underpinnings to make darts fit etc., exceptional quality and well made, very happy! Purchased Size 00 - 32AA Waist 24" 33" Hip and 5'9" and it just goes above my knee just perfect!

Pros: Do not get me wrong - it is a beautiful retro neck line/sleeve silhouette. The colors are magnificent if you like neons, the pattern is classy. Cons: Way too short considering the trend and also knee cover. A bit on the heavy side for summer and a bit too stiff of a fabric. I also got both blazers in the same fabric and for blazer the fabric is great, for a dress - not so much, unless you wear neons in the fall. Anyway, I am keeping them both because of the pros. I will have to take them to the seamstress - yes, I purchased both colors.

My normal size was too tight around the stomach area. I don’t think I could have sized up either because the arm holes were slightly big. A bust because it was final sale. Do not recommend.

Quarantine has taught me that I love colors! When I came across this dress online I ignored it at first, but it kept catching my eye because the pattern makes it fun and different. JCrew dresses feel like they are made for me, and this is no different. (There was a period when I went off JCrew, because they had a different stylist who was catering to a different crowd, but I am happy to see with the online set at least, that the old, true JCrew is back!!) I purchased this dress in both colors and am wearing it now to feel happy as I work from home. My only criticism is that they've put some kind of metal thing in the sleeve which rubs so I might have it taken out. The models JCrew use are deceiving, as this dress sits about 2 and a half inches above my knee when I am standing. I am 5 ft 11 in. (They should give the models measurements so people know the size they are getting!) Otherwise, very pleased and cannot wait to wear it out.

I have a hard time with sheath dresses and this fit me perfectly... I’m sure the stretch fabric helps too.I'm thrilled with the color and love the fit so much that I bought the blue too.
