Tiered midi dress in seersucker ribbons

I love the fabric on this dress. The crinkled strips and bright colors scream summer to me. The dress overall ran large. I'm 5'5" and 120lbs, with a small chest (34 a/b) and I'm normally a size 2, but the 0 fit without being tight. The problem for me was the length and all the fabric in the skirt. With the long ruffle at the bottom and all the extra fabric around my hips, I looked like a mermaid. I really wish J Crew would hold back from putting so many ruffles on so many garments. Sometimes less is really more.

This dress looks SO LOVELY on the website. In reality, the colors are circus clown BRIGHT, and something I would NEVER choose! Then, when I put it on, the fit was the worst I've ever seen! I weigh 110 lbs at 5'4", yet this makes me look and feel nine months pregnant! Not a good look! Trust me! It's cut very unflattering, and is humongous! I should have listened to the reviews, but I took a chance. Now, I'm left with a dress I will NEVER wear. AND, it's unreturnable! How bad is that?!? I learned a valuable lesson. Don't buy a dress on J.Crew website unseen, that is final sale, as you can't return it, if it doesn't match the website photos. Live and learn. This was a really bad purchase!!! Never again!

I do like the color and material of this dress. It's not thick or thin. Great for beach and outing.

This dress is so much fun and the fabric is gorgeous and perfect for Summer. I'm 5ft 5 so it hits me lower near ankle and I like that length very much. It sexy and cute and comfy all in one. Colors are just like the picture. It's just adorable and j.crew high quality!

I had my eye on this dress for a while. I finally bought it. It fits true to size. It is perfect material, lightweight 100 percent cotton, perfect for hot summers for where I live. The only issue I had was there was way too much fabric for the bottom tier. It's a summer dress. All that extra material around my legs made it too hot for me, so I cut the last bottom tier off! It's perfect now.

I love everything about this dress!!!!! The fabric, the fit, the length, the colors are amazing!!!!!! I am 5' 4" and it is more of a maxi on me but I love it that way. I am normally a size 10 and that is what I bought. It is a tad big in the waist but my 36DD/34DDD chest fits perfectly!!!!!! If you are between sizes I think you can safely go down a size especially since the back of the top part has smocking so it's stretchy. If you are smaller chested you may also prefer a size down due to the smocking. I really really really wish there were more color options for this dress because I would buy them without hesitation. The fabric is substantial but not heavy....really beautiful!!!!!!
