Velour crewneck sweatshirt

I bought navy a while ago, and loved it so much so i bought Burnished barn, monogrammed it in diamond design in white thread. Oh, it takes entire month to arrive. yet it’s worth the wait. burnished barn isn’t the beijing palace red that illustrated in listing . it’s more of a washed out brick red, cranberry red and vintage sofa color. hard to describe, but it’s so beautiful. I absolutely love this color in this velvet design. bought xxs, fits me perfectly (5’2”, 110lbs, wider shoulder), not slim, not long, not snuggish. please jcrew, make the antique mineral in this velour design. it’s so beautiful to match each other.

I ordered this in the Heather grey with the matching joggers. Love the hipster look with the wider ankle in the jogger and order the size S in this as I am 5’ 125#. Wanted more colors and another set for every winter day but all colors sold out! Hope JCrew brings these back again next year! Much prefer the high cotton content in JCrew velour like this; so tasteful & good quality…that shiny polyester velour sold elsewhere is so gross! Thank you Jcrew!

Again….love the material, but way too boxy and short.

Based on the size chart, I ordered a size small, which should fit someone with a chest size of 35-36 inches. The sweatshirt measures 48 inches across at the chest. The fabric and color are nice, but it's size and shape is very unflattering. If I had had an opportunity to try it on, I would never have bought it. JCrew, please start posting the actual measurements of your garments so buyers can gauge fit and size -- or allow returns for Final Sale items when your size chart are misleading.

The picture is misleading, it´s as wide as it´s long, which is odd, it would fit better if it were as in the pic, more narrow than long. The fabric and color are really nice, soft.

What is not to love about velour? I found out. The sweatshirt looks inviting on the website, and the fabric was wonderfully soft, but it fits like wearing a sack - and not a flattering one.
