Mallorca platform gladiator sandals

I bought 2 pairs of the other sandals they have plus these. The other (suede) sandals have exactly the same outer sole (stiff) and are very uncomfortable to walk with, but these are not as much, although they outers sole is equally stiff. gave it four because I wish the sole had at least some flexibility.

I had been searching for a good summer shoe and when I saw these I ordered them in both colors. The width is perfect for me and the straps don't bother me at all. They are comfortable and I'm very happy with my purchase!

I love this right away when I saw on the website There’s was no reviews so was on the fence to buy wasn’t sure if the ankle strap will work j crew ankle strap sizing is sometimes problematic which means it won’t reach the buckle so I waited till I one person posted first review and I jump on it I ordered 7.5 on both colors which was perfect fit am always size 8 on j crew the they’re very comfortable for walking style is on the point for your casual looks I recently had knee surgery so was really looking for shoe that will serve me well I can honestly say these met my expectations if you’re waiting, wait no longer go for it I believe you’ll like it as much. Take from a reviewer that just has surgery just few months ago. Go for it!!!

Love the style of this shoe! They look well made, but my only complaint is that I received them in the mail yesterday and tried them on and the hook on the top strap broke immediately. However they did look great on, I usually take a size 8 in my sandals but I sized down to 7.5 and they fit great.

The leather is great quality, I'm usually an 8.5, took an 8 in these, so sizing down a half size was correct. They're cute, the problem is the sole. It looks great, but has absolutely 0 flexibility, it doesn't bend even a little, on top of that the soles are pretty heavy. I was hoping for these platform light soles some shoes have out there, this is not what I was looking for. I knew I was taking a risk, as these were final sale and a great price, ( was waiting for more reviews in order to place an order), so all in all they're ok, they're just uncomfortable for me, so I probably won't be wearing them much.

I took a chance and ordered the nutmeg in a 7 (usually I am 7.5-8), and there is a tiny bit (1/4") of extra space in the length. I measured the insole: length is 10", the width is about 5". These fit my medium-width foot perfectly. My ankle is about 9.5" around at the top strap, and the middle hole is comfortable. There is also a small elastic section in the straps where the buckles are sewn, which is a nice detail! The sole is not too heavy for me, I love the platform with the slight wedge, and the leather insole. I can't wear flat shoes/thin soles without destroying my knees and back, so I am glad I found these! The sole does not have a lot of texture, but it still has enough traction that I would be comfortable walking in all summer weather in these shoes! I just ordered the 7.5 in nutmeg, and I am debating ordering the white. These make me think of sandals I bought in Florence in the 90's. Try them!
