Suede smoking slippers

I got these in my usual size 5 and they ran very small. I tried to break them in by wearing them around the house with socks on for a few hours but even after doing so they gave me blisters and I could barely walk in them. I wanted to love these shoes but unfortunately it didn't work out with the sizing. Bummed they were final sale so I couldn't return.

Lovely shoes, lightly padded footbed, just a bit tight & short. Normally I'm a 6.5/7, but 7 is tight. Hopefully they will stretch...otherwise I'll need to give them away, since they're not returnable. Maybe my feet are the problem :-(( A good deal on sale, regardless.

Bought these in size 8H in both Black and Dark Pacific which is a dark navy. Love them both. Smooth unembellished suede uppers look very elegant on the feet. They fit true to size for me in medium width and both are extremely soft and lightweight. They are pretty close to feeling like you are wearing slippers. J. Crew has a similar style to this that has a tassel and fringe which I also bought but I found the leather on that one to be just a little more rigid and the 8H a tiny bit shorter in length. Also a nice shoe but not exactly the same in fit as this one I'm reviewing. I am very happy with my purchase of both the black and blue in this style and I intend to buy more colors, as well as extra black or blue pairs as they become available.

Not what they used to be when they were made in Italy, now made in Morocco these shoes run a bit large, the quality of the leather is not great. Classic shoes, a good buy if on sale-

Purchased these adorable shoes in 8H medium black and they were a bit roomy but not so roomy as to size down. Very comfortable out the box. I usually buy a 8H in J. Crew..size 8M elsewhere. I have a medium width and while I find J. Crew shoes to be closer to a narrow width, these were a true medium width. They are very soft, lightweight and overall well made. The suede is solid...no irregular or creased spots. They look very elegant on the feet. Will surely elevate the most casual of outfits. I am very pleased with my purchase. I will be buying the other colors when they become available. I'm also interested in the suede ones with the tassels and fringe but just not sure how their sizes run and couldn't quite gauge it from the reviews of that style.

Shoes are true to size and very fine quality. The footbed is comfy; sole initially slick but getting scuffed well with wear. I really like the mensware-inspired style--I can play it up with a crop suit and boy shirt or go unexpected with a flirty summer dress and hat. The Dark Pacific color is not dull or grayish like navy can be--just a very clear dark blue. I prefer wearing these with footies or trouser socks so me feet don't stick to the leather inner (and my heel doesn't get cut--a common problem for me when breaking in). I hope a grain leather version will be available.
