Garment-dyed field jacket in reverse cotton sateen

I bought this jacket less than a week ago, And Ive been tracking it for almost a whole year, I’m 5’.7” and the Medium fits perfectly, really comfy and warm for fall/springs chill weather, but also breathable that can be use in a cold office.

Timeless classic couldnt believe this item was on sale for being such a classic and great quality jacket.

I bought this in store, the fit is true to side, if not a little boxy perfect to layer over sweaters. I can’t wait for this to be a staple in fall

Price, feel, historical, Accuracy This a the perfect weight jacket for 3 season wearability ( with additional layers). The color and texture are very nice. I took it down a star solely because of the retail price. At 268$ it’s way too expensive for a casual mid weight jacket. I got mine for 56$ on clearance. At that price it’s a steal. It’s comparable to most other decent brands field/military jacket. Although the description is wrong. This is more closely related the m-51 without shoulder epaulets not an m-65. I purchased this one instead of other brands because I don’t like shoulder epaulets. Fit I’m 5’7 about 183lbs. Chest is about 39”. I bought a size large. The model is 6’1 and is wearing a medium. Had I bought a medium I wouldn’t have the comfortable loose fit I was looking for. Adding a hoody underneath (which is important for a light jacket if you want 3 season wearability depending on ur climate) would make it too snug and more of a 2010s slimfit jacket. Out of the box I tried it on and it fell at about the end of my butt with a classic sized OCBD on and medium weight duck canvas pants (shirt tucked in). With a hoody it would fit ok. Would still like it to have more space across the chest and shoulders for it to be a super comfortable, thrown on, stylish, anytime jacket. XL would be much too long in the arms and look sloppy. The sleeves end at about my second thumb knuckle. My Shirt sleeve size is 33. If you want the traditional easy going stylish look with enough room to layer and not restrict mobility, size up. THIS JACKET DOESNT FIT BIG. It fits true to size unless you’re used to slim fit jackets All in all, a great jacket. Besides It not being as roomy as I’d like and the MSRP being stupid high

Look is great, but fit a little too loose for my look

This jacket has all the details... It's such a timeless look. Makes for the perfect night out... looks great, but is comfy and casual. Pairs well with jeans and black chinos—plus any other color. Highly recommend!
