Tighter fit than 484 Chinos
September 21, 2021I have over 10+ pairs of the 484 stretch chinos - they've become my go-to work pant and I'm always able to score some for great prices on sale. I saw these on big-time sale so thought I'd take a chance with the 484 "slim fit five-pocket stretch chino pant." Unfortunately, the five-pocket pants (At least the ones I got) are MUCH tighter fitting than the regular chinos. If they didn't have stretch they'd be unwearable. These things are taking me back to my skinny jean days...

Perfect fat-loss motivator
September 17, 2021Got these for a great sale price -- meaning they can't be returned, which you will likely want to do because the waist is 1 to 2 inches narrower than marked. I'd say they are the most off-sized pants I've ever owned. Of the five items I bought, only two (underwear) fit this order. Goodwill needs to establish a J Crew boutique in its thrift stores.

Unwearable
September 15, 2021I got these final sale. Buyer beware. The pants I received have a major crease on the zipper flap. Can’t wear these out in public. Look terrible.

Way too small for 484
September 3, 2021Ordered 4 pairs of 28/30, usual my size for 484. These are similar to the 5 pocket garment dye 484 pants but with lighter materials presumably for the summer months. However the sizing is way too small, I cannot even fit into it and worry sizing up to 29/30 is still not enough.

Runs Small
August 31, 2021Dang, these run small! I have 8 other pairs of J Crew 484 Slim cut with a 35 waist that fit me great, but these did not conform to the same sizing. These fit too tight. I wish I hadn’t assumed they would fit the same as all my other J Crew pants and read all the reviews before I purchased a final sale item. Buyers beware and size up!
