Warm and comfty

Disappointing
October 30, 2022Traveling to Paris in 3 weeks and wanted to style the vest as pictured; received yesterday. Opened the box today to wear and was very disappointed. I have JCrew coats enough to wear a different one everyday for a month. But this Vest was needless to say disappointing! The color was as customer posted. I expected what was in the picture (I think the lighting) is the issue. It’s more tan than golden brown. The weight as well was not expected for a Sherpa Vest; it was thin. I think maybe it’s because it’s JCrew Collection and recycled sherpa rather than JCrew that the quality wavered! Because, I have 2 JCrew Sherpa Coats which are thick. But this will be returned!

December 14, 2021I have been watching this for the past few weeks but refused to pay full price. It finally went on sale and I took the plunge. Ordered a size down to a large (my normal size in coats tho) and it is a dream. I cant wait to wear this. Thank you JC!!!!

December 8, 2021I kept looking at this vest but wasn't sure on sizing so didn't take the plunge for a while. I'm a pretty true size 6 or a small in J Crew (a medium many other places), 5ft 6 and hourglass. I ordered a size small and it's perfect, it fits over slim fitting wool coats but looks equally as good over sweaters i.e. not too big/bulky. It's really soft and very luxurious.

December 7, 2021Thank you JCrew. You gave me faith again for quality product. This picture DOES NOT give it justice. All in the details. I have the best version of this years ago but this is a thicker quality of Sherpa. It has the eye and hooks for closure and a beautiful silk lining. Easily can be dressy or worn with jeans. Has pockets. A definite classic JCrew statement piece! LOVE.

Terrible sizing
November 22, 2021So oversized. Even the xs is not workable, and I’m normally a size 4. The model in the pictures must have some serious cinched, pinned and manipulated situation in the back because the vest I got has the shape of a huge potato sack. So disappointed
