Peacoat in Italian stadium-cloth wool

When this coat went on sale, I bought both colors in two sizes. That was one big box that landed on my doorstep. I am so glad I did! I am 5'4, 105 pounds. The 00 was too tight with a winter sweater underneath while the 0 fit perfectly. The quality and colors of both coats are outstanding and I love the removable trim. It really sets it apart from just another plain coat. I will probably leave it on when I wear these coats. Highly recommend!

I am very impressed , reminds me of the nautica coat. I received sooo many compliments. The coat is rich in color and the quality was just right. The length was perfect while covering my gluteus maximus. I would recommend this coat.

I’ve been waiting over a decade for J.Crew to bring back this coat in stadium cloth! It’s absolutely the perfect combination. I wore the lining bare on my last one and even had it relined because the coat still looked great on the outside! So happy to have this coat back in my life. I really like the modern update with the button-off trim. I was expecting the 12 to be snug across the chest (I’m a 36DDD) but that’s all that remained so I decided to try it and I’m so glad I took the risk! It’s perfect! I highly recommend this coat!

I had been hoping J.Crew would come out with a peacoat this year and cringed when I saw the collar. Not to worry- it’s totally removable and the red is a terrific contrast underneath. I have an hourglass shape and so I struggle with things fitting my shoulders and hips. The size 6 fit me like a glove. Also I had inquired about the silk lining and the customer service agent told me it only covered the back, but she was wrong it’s fully lined- which I prefer. Very warm. A bit itchy. My only caveat is that I have a short torso and it’s a bit long. But I am happy enough with the quality that I don’t care.
