special work dress
August 16, 2025I love this dress for work. I always wear a pretty color cardigan with it. I like the pastel color cashmere. It also matches a JCrew work jacket i had already, so I can extend the work outfits. It is longer on me than the model pictured, but it is still very elegant and good work dress. Especially not boring.

Great concept, but…
May 26, 2025Loved this dress on first sight. What a great and unique idea to make a wool slip dress! However… this dress is definitely not for short women. I am 5’5” and this dress falls well below my shins. The pretty lace trim makes hemming the dress impossible. JCrew, why didn’t you make a petite option??

May 23, 2025I had high hopes for using this dress as a suiting option with a blazer, but the skirt was too full and looked an awkward length and fit. It is much more A-line than pictured. I ended up returning it because it wasn't flattering on me.

Gray slip dress
March 13, 2025Gray slip dress is very feminine and business like, the fabric is a nice weight fir this in between season, can wear a jacket or sweater for daytime and then remove for evening, very versatile and well made, unfortunately I returned because of fit but that’s my bad, I would recommend
