This dress is poor quality!
August 19, 2022This dress is poor quality! No wonder it is not returnable. The material like burlap and wrinkles terribly. It is also very see through. Don’t waste your money.

Perfect heat wave dress
August 6, 2022I'm absolutely obsessed with this dress and wish I had it in 10 more colors. I got it in white and have to completely disagree with the person who said it's totally see through--first of all, its white linen, so what did you expect? Get some undies that match your skin tone and you'll be fine. This dress is a must for summer! Also have to shout out the fit, I'm normally a 6-8 but have 34E chest, and I was worried the smocking might be too tight but it's perfect.

Only appropriate for beach - see through!
August 1, 2022This is a potentially pretty summer dress but completely see through (at least in the white and sounds like in lilac too) so unwearable in any other reasonable context other than the beach (unless you really don't mind your underwear and silhouette complete exposed!). This is a classic design flaw just disappointing that JCREW did not catch on - all it needed was a thin attached slip lining for the skirt (an easy fix).

It is definitely not worth full price
July 14, 2022It is a very thin linen, the length on the XS is 38”. I am usually 4-6, 125#, 32-27-36.The xs fits perfectly. It is totally see though linen, not on top that is all gathered, but the skirt is definitely see through. It is made in India. It looks like a beach cover up and definitely not the quality I think of with J Crew. It is a great beach coverup. It could work as a skirt if you are taller than me. The photo is my camera up to the skirt. Good thing I got it on super sale.
