Great craftsmanship, poor design for the average w
1 week agoThis skirt is well made however the description and design aren’t correct. It’s suppose to be a miniskirt but it’s quite long. The structure is very straight from waist to end with no stretch - so if it fits well on the waist, it’s very tight at the hips and causes the pockets to pucker on the side. If you go up in size, then it’s loose at the waist. This would have worked if it was low waist but it’s a high waisted skirt.

Need fit explanations
February 6, 2026I don’t know how they did it but this skirt was both too large and too small. I’m 26.5” waist 36.5” hips and the 2 was super tight in the hips and giant around my waist. The product is fair quality but the design was off. Looks like it worked for some, and maybe we need a not one fit like “slim/straight” or “regular curves” so we can be prepared, but the design was so off from my other j.Crew purchases who’s is disappointing because the design was so cute.

Way too small all around
January 23, 2026I sized up and the fit is still ridiculous. Way too small in the width and length. And now, I am stuck since it was final sale. Lesson learned!

Fits the bill
January 10, 2026I was on the lookout for a tailored skirt and was pleased to come across this one. I didn’t want it too short so I sized up and am pleased with the fit and cut.
