Mockneck sheath dress in disco tweed

What a beautiful dress retro style that harkens back to madmen/Jackie Kennedy Onassis. Love the colors and adds the right pop of color for early fall. Fits perfect. For reference I’m 5’4” 126 lbs and 34B. Just a little above the the knee on me. Love it!

With much anticipation, I was quite please to received this today. The dress is a 60’s classy dressy cut brought back to modern day. First and foremost, the color is a true pink with silver and iridescent cross threading. The belt is not flimsy and made from the matching fabric with a backing that will hold its shape through time. You rarely find this high detail anymore. Although polyester, the fabric has a soft, rich tweed texture and is slightly thicker so it may be a bit heavy and warm for the summer months. I am 5’2”, 116lbs, and this dress fit like it was custom made. The waist hit exactly where it should and length just at the knee. This is a transitional occasion piece where you will be able to wear from office to dinner to special event. But do not dress this down. Can’t wait to wear this at a family wedding next week with a strand of neck pearls and pointed toe neutral patent pumps to bring that look back from time. Bravo J. Crew!

Adore this dress! This is a great sheath dress and the mock neck is a great nod to the sixties. The matching belt is an added chic element. Fit is true to size for me. I could have sized down, but prefer a looser fit for sheath dresses as I have fuller hips and thighs. I purchased in the tall for a bit of a longer fit and it hits right at the bottom of my knee (5’7.5” tall). Regular would have likely stopped just at the top of my knee. Color is so beautiful and has a bit of a silver/gray that you can’t see in photos. Plan to wear with old J. Crew velvet Avery pumps I green for fall. Would also work with grey/silver pumps. Also plan to wear in early spring.
