- Jackie - Fits big - This one was off…..August 11, 2016- I'm from Europe and own about 6 Tippi sweaters now. I just love the style, the fit. I was excited to see a beautiful Beige color. I just had to have it. As always I ordered a medium. Boy, what a disappointment . The sleeves we're very, very wide, the whole sweater looked like it was an L or even XL. Why I didn't send it back? It is soooo expensive to return from EU tot US. I am more cautious now. Helpful?
- VeryDisappointed - Fits true to size - Extremely Poor QualityApril 13, 2016- If I could have given this product a zero for quality, I would have. I purchased this sweater in the berry melange but with a crew neck. I wore it once for a couple of hours, and then a second time in the car on a long trip. After a 6 1/2 hour car ride, I saw that there was pilling along the sweater where I had worn the seatbelt. When I approached the store where I bought the sweater about this, I was informed that that's what happens with friction against the sweater -- "just like when you rub along the sides." I was not aware that merely wearing a seatbelt in a car was friction enough to ruin the sweater. Most pieces of clothing I have owned do not pill until they are quite old/worn. When I questioned about quality of this item possibly being defective, I was assured that this was their usual quality. Helpful?
- Megan - Fits small - Great colors but quality has gone downApril 1, 2016- I have owned several (~8) of these sweaters through the last few years. I like to stock up on the bright colors for work. However, the last several I bought have been very low quality and have developed holes in the elbows within 5 wearings. Disappointed in the low-quality yarn! I wish the higher-quality would come back! Helpful?
- petiteshopper - Fits small - the sleeves are comically tightFebruary 29, 2016- I really wanted to love the Tippi sweater. I bought it in red, and the color is lush and vibrant. Also, the wool is pretty high quality, so the sweater is not very itchy. But my goodness, whoever designed the sleeves must be pulling an elaborate prank. I am petite, I have very skinny wrists and forearms, and my upper arms are a rather normal size. I bought an XXS because I like my clothes fitted and I am petite (5'1" and about 101 pounds). The body of the sweater fits fine; in fact, it is almost baggy. However, the sleeves are uncomfortably, ridiculously tight. They look terrible and feel dreadful. I wore the sweater a few times since the color was so pretty, but no more. I'm giving it to Goodwill, and perhaps someone with incredibly tiny arms can wear it. Helpful?
- TerryMtz - Fits true to size - Sleeve Sizing is Off, Material Snags EasilyFebruary 25, 2016- I love the look and feel of my Tippi sweater (I purchased one in maroon when it was available), but as other reviewers have noted, the sleeves are tight. My usual xs cannot be layered with a long sleeved top because of this. The rest of the sweater fits perfectly. Another annoying thing I've noticed is that any time I wear a necklace with the sweater, any place the necklace touches starts pilling immediately. This has happened with necklaces that are both chunky and that have thin, long chains. Yes, the chain of a necklace causes pilling. This shouldn't be an issue! Literally nothing can touch the neck line without disrupting the fabric. It's very strange. Helpful?
- Jenn - Fits true to size - Perfect sweater - but developed holesFebruary 14, 2016- Perfect fitting sweater with wonderful quality merino wool, but developed small holes on one side the first day I wore it. Strange how this happened..... I hope I can return. Helpful?
