Birkenstock® Arizona big-buckle sandals

Love the butter yellow color for summer! Comfortable as always with birkenstocks.

I’ve owned multiple pairs of Birkenstocks and I could not disagree more with the other review. These are gorgeous! They are comfortable, stylish and not to mention expensive looking that you will get many compliments. I ordered a 37 again like my other Arizona sandals and they fit perfectly. Going to get them in white as well. Should you be walking miles in these in the hot city? No. They are great for work, picnics and running errands. No shoe is comfortable to sweat in, other than a tennis shoe. I give these a 10!

These were the first pair of Birkenstocks that I’ve ever purchased. I fell for the color and style. They didn’t disappoint in those aspects. Unbelievably beautiful, but unbelievably uncomfortable. The sole was so hard and didn’t seem like they would “break in” with wear as it’s a coated and a dense material. The molded parts of the footbed just didn’t work for my foot. I could see them being slippery when your foot sweats. The leather straps are very hard. I had red lines just from trying them on in my room, so I knew they would cut the tops of my feet. I’m a 6.5/7 took a size 37 which just fit (size 38 was too big). Definitely not for a wide foot. I really wanted to keep them because I loved how they looked but they were just too uncomfortable to justify keeping them. Thankfully J Crew has great customer service and I was able to return them.
