Didn't like the pointy toe on a Chelsea boot
January 1, 2020Nice leather quality, comfortable, run large so I sent it back. That plus the pointy toe.

Great fall boots!
December 19, 2019I bought these boots because I wanted some cute short black boots for fall, and these are great! They pair really well with skinny jeans (I'm 5'11" and 172 lbs). My feet are a bit wide, so the width is a bit narrow, but once I broke them in they were fine.

Flawless
November 28, 2019This boot is just amazing and super stylish. It took exactly one wear to break it in, the leather is of a very high quantity. Love it!

Disappointing materials
November 20, 2019Have been looking for a reasonable pair of white Chelsea boots with a black gore for almost 10 years, and thought I had found something close enough in this. Ordered a half size up from my usual size, which was the right fit. However, was really disappointed to see the materials when the boot arrived. The construction looks cheap/flimsy, and the leather was a chalky matte-ish white with lots of really large ripples and striations in the leather--almost as if the leather had major stretch marks all over, especially in the most visible areas on the front of the boot. On top of this, I wasn't that pleased with the design--the shaft is much wider than most Chelsea boots (which gives an unflattering, "cankle" kind of look), and the toe is more pointed and flat/downturned, rather than the slightly rounded/slightly upturned versions that are more common from other brands, which I find much more wearable and flattering. Unfortunately, these boots are going back, and the search continues...

Awesome booties
November 19, 2019I took a chance ordering these as I just recently started shopping at JCrew, but I must say I am totally satisfied. Will order again.

Most Painful Boots Ever
November 18, 2019I was so excited to receive these boots, but unfortunately, they did not meet my expectations at all. I've had real leather boots in the past and they have never been this painful. They gave me such bad blisters on my ankles that I now have scars on both feet. I tried duct tape to cover whatever was causing that and wearing thick socks and that did nothing. I wore them through the airport and on the plane and I had to take them off the entire ride because they were making my feet swell so bad my feet were going numb. As soon as I arrived to my destination, I found a shoe store and purchased new boots. Super frustrated with the quality and fit of these boots and disappointed to spend that much money on shoes that hurt so bad I wanted to cry every time I wore them. They have also been worn and were on sale so I doubt I can return them.
