Sorrento twisted-strap sandals in leather

I was so excited to get these gorgeous sandals. Unfortunately, they were defective as the sandal was detached/not glued properly to the sole. Also, as a fellow reviewer shared, the fit is odd. The strap that runs across the toes is at the joint rather than at the toes' cleavage. Customer service was a pleasant and smooth process, very helpful as they allowed me to return this Final Sale item.

I wish I had seen other reviews before I purchased these. It is clear there is a significant design flaw and the strap is not at the right place and is far too narrow for any adult size foot. The shoe should not have been sold.

Leather is nice… I have a narrow foot and couldn’t get my foot in without pain..:: do not buy… crazy I cannot return. Also too short

I am a true 9.5 M and ordered a size 10. The shoe is very well-made, and I believe the sole is true to size, but the strap across the foot is initially VERY tight. It runs across the joint instead of along the toe cleavage. However, I stuff them with a rolled up washcloth after I wear them, and after a week, they have stretched beautifully. They don’t hurt or leave marks anymore. The shoe has a leather lining that helps with the process. So if you don’t mind a short break-in period and the strap being placed farther back than usual, I recommend.

Really wanted a summer black sandal and thought these were quality and stylish.. anyway I do have a wider foot but usually get 6h choose 7 just to be safe and they still are a little tight across the toes. Wish I had ordered the 7h but maybe they will stretch a bit. A narrow foot would probably be safe ordering reg. size... Very cute!

They are just like the picture and well-made. I am a true 9.5M. I have a pair of boots, a pair of block sandals, and a pair of sneakers from J. Crew that are all 9.5 M and fit just fine. However, based on the reviews I ordered a size 10. So..this fit is a little strange. Some of the other reviewers mentioned that they could barely squeeze their foot into the sandal because the strap is too tight. I actually think the sole really is true to size but the strap is placed too far back on the sole. Hence, where the model in the picture shows the strap going across her toe cleavage, in reality, her heel hangs off the back a smidge in order to get that strap placement. So the strap crosses at the joint of the big toe. NOT Ideal. This makes the brown ridge and interior ridge that run the perimeter feel like it’s too long and will scrape when walking. NOT Ideal. However, The shoe is more stable when I ran the strap THROUGH the twisted part instead of basic crisscross.
