Long open cardigan sweater

I purchased this sweater online and received it today. I was really looking forward to it. It looked as if it had been repackaged and pretty messily- it was rolled loosely in a clear bag with holes in it and secured with scotch tape instead of the clear tape that typically seals the nicely folded items from jcrew. I opened it to find the sweater pilled all over. It does not look like a new sweater. Fortunately I got it on sale, unfortunately it was final sale so I'm stuck with it.

This sweater is heavier and more substantial than I was expecting, but it is so perfect. It's also super soft and not itchy because of the cotton blend - I'm often sensitive to any kind of wool. Long enough to cover my bum (I'm 5'6"). I usually am either a M or L in this type of thing and went with the Large - I'm glad I did as I can layer it over blouses and long sleeved t's all winter. Wish I had bought both colours.

Nice for when not quite cold enough for a coat or jacket. It's cozy and warm. Love it!

What a cozy "blanket" of a sweater. The patch pockets are great and navy is always perfect in my book. This sweater runs large. I bought a small and could have downsized to an extra small!

I love this sweater. It’s really thick and cozy. It definitely runs large — I went down two sizes to get the fit I wanted. My one issue is when it arrived, it already had some pilling.

This is the second sweater I bought in this style. I just bought the navy and I already have the gray from last year. It runs true to size and is pretty forgiving. The sleeves are narrower on the small. The medium fit better for me to go over winter clothes. It fits true to size. It’s definitely for warmer weather since it’s a little thicker.
