What customers are saying:
Many customers loved the unique colors, textures, and overall vibe of the sweater, which makes it a fun and versatile piece for layering. Several noted its boxy, cropped style tends to run larger and shorter than expected, so a quick check on your typical size might help get the perfect look. In addition, many appreciated the comfort of the Merino wool that stays soft and non-itchy. Overall, this sweater stands out as a playful and cozy option for those who appreciate a relaxed and roomy fit.

Horrible Quality
February 1, 2021Hand washed once and the sections that make up the stripes separated. I loved the look but this was a huge disappointment.

Pretty sweater but awful quality
January 20, 2021Very pretty, but itchy. After first wash, the whole integrity of sweater fell apart - stiff, hard and uncomfortable.

Turtleneck Boiled Wool Stripe AR217
January 16, 2021I gave this sweater high marks for multiple reasons. Mostly for the “flexibility.” I tend to like tailored clothing, so this item is quite different for me. FIT: Is roomy. If you order your regular size, this will probably be the right fit for you. But it will be roomy. The arm length will be correct. I plan to pop a button down collar underneath this item. At the same time, it looks great underneath a coat or vest. I purchased the hazelnut brown with blue stripe. LENGTH: Intended to be slightly cropped, meaning this will hit below the belt line and at the jean pocket. WIDTH: This item, regardless of size will have room in the width and in the arm pit area. This is why I say, order the size you normally would because you will want the correct arm length. I am 5’3 110 and XS (my usual J. Crew size: Margot sweater, Tippi sweater) is what fits me correctly. If I go XXS or S, I still have the roomy-ness that just “goes” with the sweater. It’ll probably be something different for you, but?

Material is not soft and lose shape after wash
January 11, 2021The material feels different from my other merinol wool sweaters. This sweater is not soft and has no stretch. Its touch is closer to a rigid wool scarf? Also, I am sad that the neck line and waist lost its shape as shown in picture after very gentle hand wash in cold water. Final sale so I cannot return it.

Cropped and 0 stretch
January 4, 2021Worst top ever!! Mine is super short and there is no stretch. It’s like it went through the wash and shrunk ... I am always a xxs or xs abs ordered and xs in this

Love it!
December 26, 2020I am glad I trusted my gut on this, rather than the reviews. I love it! It does run big for sure, but I was looking for boxy, so I got the small (I waffle between an xs and s normally). I received it much faster than my order confirmation had indicated, yay! I put it on the day after I received it, and have not taken it off (except to shower) for a few days...wore it with a popped-collar, blue gingham print button-down and jeans for Christmas shopping. Layered with a navy blue turtleneck with comfortable pj pants for sleeping and sweats / tights for opening presents and being around the house. It is cheery and fun print, love that the blue lines are a little imperfect. I worry about bulk with boiled wool sometimes, but this was not too bulky at all - perfect for layering. This was a great purchase!
