These boots are super well made inside and out. They are very sturdy, the yellow part is not leather. Not sure of the material, maybe rubber. My only issue is that they are not true to size for me. I am a true 7 1/2, euro size 38 and my toes are hitting the front of the shoes. I have normal width feet. I do recommend, if you can try on first to get the correct size as they are final sale.

Such amazing boots, and the sale price is crazy when you combine the additional sale codes that are normally available. My only regret was not buying the pink ones too. I ended up getting the green because the sole was black and I figured the dark green wouldn't show as much dirt. Really cute colour combination. I'm typically a 6-6.5 in shoes and 6.5 in boots and I ordered the 37. They fit perfectly - I can wear thick socks and it's not an issue. If you can get your hands on your size I would absolutely recommend getting them. I have a pair of Danner hiking boots and these ones are significantly lighter, so if you're actually using them for hiking trips they're great. Leather is great quality, as you'd expect from Diemme.

I bought my suggested size 37. I am a consistent 6.5/37. They are so painful due to my toes hitting the toe box. Earlier reviewer, who sized up and bought 38, then regretted it, consider yourself lucky. At least you can wear them with thick socks. For me they are unwearable and J.Crew with their final sales is becoming much less attractive as a brand.

I am a size 6.5 which is a 37, but the first review I read said I should get next size up, size 38, so I did — big mistake! I should have ordered my normal size of 37, but since this was a final sale I can’t return the two pairs of hiking boots I bought! I even wore real thick socks and the boots are still loose on me. I am a size 7 on Sorel Joan’s so I didn’t think they would be that much bigger from my normal size. Unfortunately, I will end up wearing a couple pairs of socks to make this work. The boots themselves look high quality both inside and out. The arch support is great which isn’t something you expect from hiking boots but these are cushy and comfortable. The colors are also great!

I would buy more if they had in my size in different colors. I rly wanted the pink but it was sold out. Ordered the yellow and surprised how much I like the colors. I am an 8, sometimes a 7.5 and the 39 fits well. I often take a 39 in European footwear. Excellent quality. 10/10 recommend and please jcrew do another collab! Please!!!

Everything about these boots is quality. The insole is well cushioned. They are a hair more snug than I was expecting but I think they will break in. The leather is quality, inside and out. Would buy again.
