(The motif is intarsia knit, meaning that the different colors are seamlessly woven together rather than being pieced, printed or layered. It's a more complicated process, but we think it's entirely worth it.) With slim arms and an open body, it's just the right mix of relaxed and refined.

I loved this sweater!
August 27, 2014I loved the style and the fit. I wore it twice and it now has 1/4" hole in the front. It wasn't snagged- it appears the knit started unravelling making a hole. I expect slight imperfections when purchasing linen, but this is the third knit item from J Crew in just 2 years that has gotten a hole or holes in a very shirt time. I used to be able to depend on excellent quality and great fit from J Crew. I don't live near a J Crew, so I purchase when I am near one for gifts as well as for myself. I won't be purchasing anymore knit items from J.Crew.

Happy surfing sweater
August 21, 2014Big disappointment ! I purchased size MD but runs like XXL. Colors are rather depressing mostly as a summer happy surfing sweater, not only did not advise my daughter to buy it but also I have no intention to wear it.

August 15, 2014Just like any other piece I have from J.Crew this sweater wasn't a disappointment. It does run a bit big, but I think that is the style of it and makes a perfect summer staple for your wardrobe. I ordered the Navy color in size Small without trying it on and it is rather big. However, it looks great and I got a lot of compliments when I wore it.

August 8, 2014I absolutely love this summer sweater! Perfect weight for summer nights, or office AC. I bought it in navy blue and I love the vintage long board design. The fabric is a light weave, and you get the cute slouchy look (but not sloppy). I wore this sweater with white jeans, and also with cute Andie shorts and topsiders. Really gives you a fun, fresh summer look. I am a J Crew 00 Petite, and bought the sweater in XXS.

Comfortable and unique! Watch sizing!
August 7, 2014This is a great, lightweight piece and the surfboard print is so unique and cute. I got the navy version and love it. I'm a Medium or size 10 in most Jcrew tops, and in the more fitted styles a large, but some of the other reviews stated that it ran small, so I went for the large. Big mistake. There's literally 9 inches of extra fabric on each side of my body. I could make a throw pillow, there's so much extra fabric. So order your true size, which will still be loose and flawy.
