November 19, 2020These boots are everything I wanted. They're super cute and comfy. They fit true to size. I love the height of the heel. I work in an elementary school so I'm on my feet most of the day and these boots have been great. I feel like it's so hard to find black shoes with gold accents, so I was super excited when I saw these. They lace up but also have a zipper. The rubber on the soles of the heels has frayed and peeled off little bit, but I think they're just breaking in. No complaints!

November 18, 2020For starters, let the record show that I might hold the world title for pickiest shoe shopper. I am woefully fastidious about the right color, material, heel height, toe shape, etc. After scouring (not surfing) the net and finding an endless supply of unflattering combat/chunky lace-up boots, I found love at first sight on J.Crew. This pair is a perfect 10! Even so, I was hesitant to click the splurge button. So glad I did, these boots are a top-quality design that will elevate any outfit for years to come.

November 18, 2020So I receive a note in my email from J. Crew when ever I make a purchase, always entitled, "Did you Love it?" Well, with these boots it is an emphatic YES!!!!! I always like fashion when it is designed with a sense of wit. To that end, these boots are perfect! A hiking boot style fashioned with checks and black patent leather...even the zipper on the side!! To my thinking J. Crew, you hit it out of the park! Congrats!!

LOVE These Boots!
November 14, 2020These boots are better than I could have imagined. They are super comfy. The crepe sole makes them feel like sneakers. The heal is wide enough you don't notice you are walking on a heal. They are true to size. I usually take a 7.5 or 8 med. I purchased an 8 and have enough room to wear a pair of warm socks, which is what I like to do in the colder weather. I have received SO MANY compliments on them (got the checkered pattern). I may go back and get them in black, as they are so comfy and one can always use black shoes.
