Quilted Barn Jacket

This jacket harkens back to the old J Crew. Classic in style, quality in workmanship, a real gem. It is soft, warm and very comfortable. Great wardrobe addition.

This is the perfect jacket for me. I am an experienced sewist and have been making my own outerwear for a few years because I can get better quality that way. I have an aversion to polyester and most RTW jackets/coats are lined with it because it’s cheap. I debated for weeks about buying this jacket or making a knockoff using a pattern I already have. It was on sale so the price would have been the same either way, so I decided to buy it and try it out. I’m so glad I did! Even in black, it is beautiful and classy despite being casual. The hardware is gorgeous. Plus, it’s actually cotton (mostly) inside and out! The sleeves are polyester lined (really wish JCrew would be more specific about that in the product description), but it’s a texture I can deal with. Otherwise it’s cotton and feels great to wear.

This jacket is true to size and of great quality. I bought my usual xxs. It is beautifully tailored and a decent thickness for the fall or early spring mornings. It is nice enough for work and causal enough with jeans as well. Love this jacket!

I am so in love with this jacket. I have been looking for a quilted jacket for awhile but finding nothing to my liking until this one. This is truly a nice piece. The color is beautiful. For reference I am 5’5 , 132lbs and small fits perfectly with room to wear a sweater.

This is one of my best jackets I have ever purchased, so well made inside and out. I love the lining material as much as the quilted material. Very nice colors. It is very comfortable, would highly recommend!
