Ribbed cotton-cashmere hoodie

I purchased 2 of these and loved them and gave great reviews. Just had the opportunity to wear the navy. Super comfortable but the tee I had on under was covered in blue lint. I washed it separately due to the shedding and have used 1 full lint roller trying to get all the blue fuss off. Will try wearing one more time but if no improvement it will be useless

I wasn't happy with the quality of the knit and the arms seemed extremely long.

I took the advice of previous reviews and ordered a size down, I'm glad I did. It is still a bit large, but, I usually order a size up in sweaters/sweatshirts to make them extra roomy, so, it's all good. 5'6" 150 lbs. Super soft and cozy. I ordered the navy and loved it, so I came back for the white.

I just received this sweater today and sized it down as recommended. The sleeves are several inches too large and probably 4 inches too wide at the cuff so they cannot be rolled up. It is totally unwearable. I have contacted customer service to see what can be done because it is a final sale item. No one would purchase this if they saw it in the store as it is so off-sizewise. Will keep you posted on how they reply.

This is the second cashmere/cotton product I’ve purchased from JCrew and I’m here to tell JCrew it’s not working. I purchased this and the matching shorts and immediately put it on. It was super cute and comfy. I immediately started molting. Every where I went I was dropping fuzz balls. So much that as I was riding in the car with my husband and he started sneezing with all of the fuzz balls floating in the air. After one wash see picture. Total waste of money and going in the donate box.

Residing in Northeastern PA, our summer nights are generally cooler (high 60s), yet humid. I've practically lived in the cotton cashmere hoodie/short set. It was perfectly cozy, but not overly warm, for July 4 fireworks, al fresco dinner at a friend's lake house, impromptu ice cream stand meet-ups, following a pool day, even an outpatient hospital procedure. As other reviewers noted, these pieces are generously sized. I sized down two full sizes in the shorts and one size in the top. I probably could have sized down two sizes in my top, but, I was, purposely, aiming for a "slouchy" look. At 6'1, the shorts fall mid thigh. I dry clean the sweater and shorts, so I can't attest to how well they launder. However, they pill little, nothing an electric sweater shaver can't remedy in a few minutes, following each wear (mainly where my wicker tote bag rubbed against the side of my body). I'll be packing two sets (ivory and natural) for my upcoming, late summer, beach vacation.
