Tie-waist shirt-dress in cotton poplin

I’m a size 8/10, 36DDD and this dress is INCREDIBLY flattering! The buttons don’t pull across my chest and it accentuates my small waist. This looks lovely with flats or heels. I just bought my second one! You won’t regret this purchase!

Size up maybe two sizes! By the time I tried it on it was too late to return and a JCrew 2 is usually really loose on me

I read the reviews and purchased this dress in a solid and stripe in a size 2 whereas I am between a 00 and 0 in everything else I own from JCrew. The solid color does not come close to being buttoned and the striped barely buttoned. The fabric was very wrinkled when I received both dresses which I am sure can be steamed or ironed out. Since it was final sale I cannot return the items and they do not fit. The flaw in these dresses is the way the waist is cut. It should have been elastisized all the way around, not just at the back or the elastic should actually function to provide some stretch in the waist area. I was extremely disappointed as both dresses were purchased for specific events and I cannot wear them because they don't fit. For anyone who wants to buy this dress - size up 2 sizes, otherwise you'll be stuck with dresses that don't fit.

I am so happy to have this dress, and even better that I found it on clearance and in my size. As every single other person has mentioned, the dress really does run small. I am typically an 8, and while the 8 fit, I would have been really nervous to sneeze, stretch or make any sudden movements that could possibly make a button pop! I sized up to a 10 and the 10 fit me beautifully. I know some have needed to go up 2 sizes, however, had I done that I am pretty sure a 12 would have been too loose. I am so excited about this dress and I can't wait to wear it next week. Amazing cut, length, pockets and it has sleeves! My new favorite dress! I am 5'6 145lbs.

I’m 5’2 110lbs with a small waist and it has always been difficult to get one of these dresses to fit on my waist, it would usually be too big. This dress however fit perfectly and I loved it. Wore it recently on my trip to Napa. Light comfy and beautiful. I’m in love with it.

this dress has a classic silhouette that is easy to wear. However, fabric wrinkles very easily and therefore it looks unkempt. I am always on the run so wrinkly dress doesn't work for me. It also runs about one size small.
