Ludlow Traveler Slim-fit suit jacket in Italian wool
2008, proving that you can get a suit made with the world's best fabrics and with details you'd find in a four-figure suit for a fraction of the cost. Today, the Ludlow comes in two fits and new fabrics from renowned mills every season. Back by popular demand, the Traveler suit is cut in three-ply wool from Italy's Tollegno 1900 mill that's specially woven to be wrinkle-resistant, so it's perfect for cross-country flights (and all those "This could have been an email" meetings).

What customers are saying:
Many customers found the suit to be a versatile pick with generally solid fit for both professional and casual occasions. They appreciated the wrinkle‐resistant fabric for its practicality, even though it comes with a slightly different texture than traditional suiting. A number of customers recommended taking advantage of discounts rather than paying full price for the suit. Overall, it’s seen as a smart, value‐oriented choice when the price is right.

Fits small
TOO SMALL & LOW QUALITY!!
February 16, 2021I have purchased quite a lot of clothes from J. Crew, and I always order the same size. For some reason, this suit jacket is just extra small in armhole area. Everything else is alright, but the hole for the shoulder is so small that I am scared it would rip if I cross my arms. Of course, it is also very uncomfortable, and the material is so thin that I can literally see my hands through the cloth. I would say the style is not bad, but when other reviewers said it was small and the quality was lacking, they were being accurate with their assessment. If I could, I would return this jacket without a second thought.

A great classic fit suit jacket
February 2, 2021Bought this for my son, a young professional. He needed a suit that can be dressed up or down. This fits the bill. A great product that will stand the test of time for a young professional without a ton of money but wants to look great.

Solid purchase at 60% off
January 31, 2021Was skeptical about getting this suit after reading reviews online about the lack of quality, but after seeing it was going for 60% off I decided it was time to pull the trigger. Worth it for the sale price.

Just as advertised
January 28, 2021I purchased this suit on sale, but it's not as though some quality or fit issue relegates it to a "only buy at reduced price" category; its fit and quality are in-line with the high standards I've experienced with the other Ludlow suits I own. Some dissatisfaction I've read in other reviews seems to have stemmed from the fact that this is a traveler/wrinkle-resistant suit, which means that (among other things) the fabric wrinkles less at the expense of softness, and the lining is slightly thicker (but not jersey material, as another reviewer noted). If you are looking for a wrinkle-resistant suit, or at least aware of the fact that this suit makes trade-offs to that end, then I'm sure you will be just as pleased with the quality of this garment as I am. Highly recommended.

Great fit but disappointing quality
January 11, 2021One of my favorite suits is my glen plaid Ludlow Traveler Slim suit that I got years back. High quality super wool, winkle resistant, half lined with really great quality lining. So when I saw there was a sale on Ludlow Traveler suits I jumped right on it. While the suit fits me perfectly and just needs minor tailoring, this version of the Traveler suit is a huge step backwards quality wise. The suit is 100% wool but is a thin and coarse and doesn't seem to be very wrinkly resistant since my suit out of box had some heavy creases. The lining also felt very cheap compared to previous versions. At the end of the day most things come down to price and I was able to get an amazing deal but I would be amazed if anyone paid full price for this.
