Sleeveless taffeta dress in mixed Stewart tartan

The color is lively and seems like a Xmas dress. It is comfy and easy to move but a bit large and not so flattering in your body. Maybe, if I size it down then it may look good to wear.

I want to love this dress. It looks very cute in the picture. However I am a bit on the fence because of the length. I am usually a P0. Ordered 000 since petite size is not offered and the reviews indicate that it runs large. It fits everywhere but a bit long to my liking. It falls almost at my knee. I do have a short frame but was hoping that by 000 the length should also be shorter in proportion of the size. I was wrong. The dress itself is very well made and lovely. Definitely a unique one for the holiday. Someone with a taller frame would fit better. For reference, I am 5'1, 108lb, 34B.

I had such high expectations for this dress. Yes, it's almost a year in advance, but I thought it would make the perfect Christmas party dress. I mean look at it, you would look like an adorably packaged gift. Unfortunately, that was not the reality. First, the colors were a little brighter IRL which made the dress look very clownish. Second, the dress had no shape. No, there was a shape, but it was like an oblong balloon. It oddly puffed in the middle because the skirt part didn't pouf out enough. Third, the material felt so cheap. It felt like a $20 party store Halloween costume I would wear in third grade. Anyway lesson learned, just walk away from this one!

Beautiful dress with different tartan patterns going on do make a flattering twist. A size 14, I should have stayed with my accurate size, but went up one--wrong move, but no reviews at time of purchase. The dress is loose enough to pull on over head without unzipping. Quality is good & dress care instructions read "dry clean" which I did not care for but keeping it, despite being a loose, flowing fit with extra care. Sleeveless, so pulling a sweater over, as I saw in a few promotions; that will work. Recommended, but stay true in sizing.

Very disappointed with the style of this dress. Back darts look like boobs should be in them. Style loose more for toddler. Plaids do not match on side of dress... terrible line up. The only thing I liked was the use of two plaids. Dress not flattering... maybe good as maternity.i am returning it.
