They’re pretty good. At 5’5” they come past my knees though and need to be hemmed. The pleats are also more pronounced than the photos and make me look like I have a pooch. I think this style looks better on taller people.

Pleats are back! It takes some getting used to but I like them. Great mid-weight denim, soft and flexible. Runs slightly large. I wear a 24/25P in jeans and bought these in a 24. They fit but a bit looser than I’d typically wear. These shorts will transition right into fall with a sweater.

I've never written a review but I relied heavily on other reviews for the best fit and think i should also help other buyers out. Im 5'2, 140 lbs and usually wears a 28/29 in j. crew shorts and pants same as wide leg jeans. But these shorts run really big, especially for 100% cotton. I got the 27 ( measurements are 15.5" waist, 12" rise and inseam is 9.5") and think i should have sized down to 26 due to slight stretch with soft material. I got this size by default cuz all the other sizes were sold out and i figure i will loose some weight just to fit into these shorts! lol. Perfect shape and length for a pair of denim shorts, can be dressed up or down! Love the classy subtle pleats in the front think it's the most classic style in the market right now as far as the long denim trends goes. The legs are slimmer than the other baggy shorts out there. Since they are all sold out will try to put them in the dryer and see if I can shrink them. I really love them!

Yes, bought these shorts because of the length..but I didn’t realize they had pleats in the front.. and they were 1 size too big.. smaller size wasn’t available.. but keep them anyway..
