Kenmare Relaxed-fit suit pant in English cotton corduroy

Not sure what happened here, but the pants do not have the satin tuxedo stripe. After looking at the images, only half of them have the stripe so I am pretty confused. Thought this would be a dope play on a tuxedo but now I just have a pair of corduroys.

According to their origin story, corduroys were supposed to be the poor man’s velvet. No one told these pants this, because these feel better than velvet - probably - with an incredibly rich sheen, almost feeling as if they’re lit from within. The color is darker, richer and more textural than the pictures suggest. They’d elevate any outfit, although I personally did not, and would not pair them with the matching suit. With the heavy weight of the corduroy, they feel very structured. I usually buy an inseam length of 32”, but went 30” with this, which was the right call. A must buy, in my book.

Paused on purchasing these pants for quite some time and finally did. Glad I did. Beautifully made pair of pants. Was not a fan of the jacket that was sold to accompany the pants but these are very versatile, nice fitting cords. Wore them with a chambray shirt and denim jacket and got a few compliments. Highly recommended.
