Tracksmith® X J.Crew twilight short

I run 36 miles a week in my same old running shorts from another athletic brand. I'm usually an xs in running shorts as well as in most of my jcrew clothes . I'm 5'6" 127lbs slightly proportionally bigger thighs/butt to upper body. I looked on tracksmith site since there were no reviews here. Reviews said they ran small and they really do! Ordered up to a S and they are snug! tight waistband ,clingier in legs than I'd like. I probably should have gone up two sizes to a medium. Otherwise they're ok not great. Kind of see through in the kiwi which was the only color available due to a great sale price.
