Ludlow semi-brogue oxfords

My only reason for not giving this a full 5 stars is that I was obviously sent a worn and returned pair, judging by the scuffing of the soles, beginning of creases at the stress points and small scratches throughout the uppers. However, I'm going to keep them as the overall quality and build are excellent. The previous reviews are correct, they are remarkably comfortable for a dress shoe. The color is slightly lighter and more matte than the pictures on the website, but not so different as to warrant a return. Fully recommend, if you can get your hands on a brand new pair.

These shoes are absolutely beautiful! Great style ,outstanding quality and color. Bought for one son, too big, gave to the other son, fit perfectly and he was thrilled. A quality investment.

I saw this shoe featured in several outfits and was eager to add it to my collection. The color was a bit darker than the images on the website but it’s a great looking shoe none the less. The materials used and construction are higher end. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 out of 5 stars is the back of the shoe rubs on my heel after a full days use. Beyond that I love it!

I was looking for a black lace up dress shoe that wasn't bland, and this shoe fit perfectly what I envisioned as far as style and quality. I've had them for little over a month, but I've only worn them maybe 5 or 6 times. They look really good, but they hurt my feet. I'm a teacher, so I'm constantly moving around the classroom and school, and by the end of the day I do not want to walk anymore when I have these shoes on. When I get some sole inserts, I'll wear them more often.

Really do love these. They hit a nice sweet spot between walnut and brown shades with the English Tan color - exactly what I’ve been looking for! Thrilled that these are Goodyear welted for any resoleing needs down the road. Size wise, I took other reviewers advice and ordered a size down and they fit great. Ordered a 9; whereas other shoes (Nike, Vans) I wear a 10. Width is excellent on them. I'd say order the size you typically do for dress shoes which all seem to run a tad smaller than athletic/casual shoes.
