Clarks® Originals Wallabee® shoes in suede

I bought these last week and I love the way they fit and look. Can be easily dressed up with a blazer and chinos or dressed down for less formality with some jeans. Also, these are very comfortable for how good they look.

Purchased the Cola Suede color. I had originally purchased a size smaller based on prior reviews but ended up returning and purchased my normal size. Great fit and color, hides scuffs a little better than the normal lighter color.

I love these shoes because they are comfortable, go with everything and are quintessential cool to wear. Wallabee is a tradition and if you are from a certain generation, they harken back to when style meant never being showy, but rather understated. These shoes run large but stretch over time so I recommend going one half size smaller.

These are my favorite Clarks, far superior to their desert boots in my opinion. Fit is true to size (I’m 11.5D on a brannock and 11.5 is a perfect fit) but a touch wider with more volume than the desert boots, which I find too tight on the top of my foot (I have average arches and width, so blame the shoe). The “cola” suede is perfect, similar to Alden’s snuff suede… not too loud to dress up but more interesting than standard tan/khaki. I wore them to a wedding with a blue linen suit and felt fabulous. Highly versatile and never go out of style.

So glad to see that the Wallabee is alive and well. Its the same as I remember just with some updated colors that simply rock. Tee it up with a dark wash pair of jeans and a fresh and crisp white tee and you are ready for any adventure from dinner to dancing and anything in between. Heavy props to JCrew and Clarks for have a solid relationship.

This is my 7th. pair, I have them in almost every color and absolutely love them, my first pair I ever had I stole from my dad about 30 + years ago and have been wearing them ever since, extremely comfortable, casual and classic, goes well with jeans or khakis, highly recommended
