Pleated midi skirt in shimmering plaid

I thought this would only be a skirt for spring and summer, then I bought the Heather River cashmere crewneck and it works with it beautifully, so I can see wearing it further into the fall and again as late winter turns to spring. With the right silky top and shoes, it could be worn for parties, if we ever have parties again. I typically wear an 8P, but got this in a Reg6. It's a little snug at the waist but not at all uncomfortable. It's slightly below the knee (I'm 5'2") and has a lovely swing.

I have been a little worried about JCrew quality as of late, but this is one from the good-old-days. Great quality (so far), classic plaid with pleats that look great. It's a squinch long which works for me, it looks great with heels at work or could look nice at a summer party with sandals. The shimmer is pretty cool and looks pretty, not weird or from the 60's. The fabric isn't cotton, but not cheap, I like it.

I love it! Classic shape with a sort of retro feel to the pattern. There is a slight shimmer which is very subtle. I can wear this with sneakers and a jean jacket, or make it very “ladylike” with a blouse or sweater and heels. For me this ran true to size.

really pretty skirt - can be dressed up or dressed down - i love it - especially since I can pretty much use spring through fall.

This skirt is so pretty. I love the plaid print. It is so shiny and dressy. You can totally dress it up or down with a T-shirt or a pretty sweater. I would wear this year Round. I sized up to have a loose waist that sits closer to my low waist.

Love love love Caught my eye instantly on the rack. I love the playful colors of this plaid. So classy and sophisticated. Definitely gonna be a go to piece this fall and next spring. Just change the tops. :) The fit is perfect. Material is quality. A nice thickness yet theres a lightness to the skirt for it to be worn all seasons.
