we made this oxford workshirt with traditional-weight 5.5-ounce cotton. which has a bit more structure than our Broken-in oxfords. It features two buttoned chest pockets and a comfortable fit that can be dressed up or down. (Fun fact: Yale, Harvard and Cambridge also had shirt fabrics named after them but none have stood the test of time as well as Oxford's.)

The 'less-formal' oxford shirt
November 20, 2025Great shirt! It’s definitely boxier than the classic J.Crew oxford, but in a modern, intentional way. Same great quality you expect, just with a more relaxed vibe. Pairs perfectly with a looser pair of pants for an easy, put-together look.
