Anna October^© X J.Crew sheer sweater-dress

This was an impulse buy that turned out to be a huge win. Based on the other reviews, I thought I wanted a size Small (I'm usually an XXS/XS in J Crew tops, P0 or sometimes P2 in dresses/pants), but that size was not available, so I took a chance and ordered a Medium. Its PERFECT. I have no issues with the armholes being tight in this size; nor is it too big (and I'm a 32A) - its just right. I could normally never wear a medium, but this perfect. Even the length is great.... hits right at the floor, so a slight heel or wedge will be ideal. I'm 5'0", so this was a pleasant surprise. I cannot wait to wear this - as an elevated swim coverup, or as a sheer dress over a short slip.

Agree with others that it’s very pretty - but definitely size UP!!! I usually wear a small in J.Crew, but based on reviews I bought a medium, and it’s still tight in the top.

Absolutely stunning BUT I am religiously an Xs in Jcrew & even when people say size up I tend to not and I’m fine. However this time I listened because in the picture the top part looked smaller… I ordered a Small but I could have been happier in a medium which is wild! The chest area/armpit is so tight my girls hardly fit in there and I am 34C That being said it is lovely and I still will wear since it is final sale

Beautiful coverup! Love everything about it except the arm holes feel unusually small? I’m usually size XS/S in all J.Crew dresses & coverups…but ordered a medium because I saw it on an influencer who looked to be around the same size as me…and she was wearing a medium. So happy I saw her post because I probably wouldn’t be able to wear it due to the armhole issue if it were any smaller. I’m hoping I can stretch out the shoulder straps a bit to create a little more room under the arms? I bought it on final sale at literally a third of the price so I will have to figure something out to make it a bit more comfortable under the arms. Hope that helps future buyers! It fits perfectly everywhere else and it is truly a special piece! I’m 5’4 ~ 125lbs ~ 34A
