Beautiful Dress
June 29, 2026Beautiful dress in lavender in a medium weight cotton fabric. Thick enough to not require nude bike shorts. The sizing is really big (thanks to the reviews online I got the right size) so I got a XS (5'2"; usually wear a size 8/M). Was afraid that the dress would be too long but it hit perfectly at the ankles. The smocking hits under the bust, creating this empire waist of sorts that goes well with the boat neck and the full skirt.

Beautiful Dress, but Sadly Too Large
June 25, 2026I bought this dress and it was beautiful. Unfortunately, it was too big for me, so it didn't fit as I had hoped. I was very disappointed because I really loved the style. I hope J.Crew will have more dresses in stock in the future so I can order a smaller size.
