When it comes to women's bags, the possibilities are endless. From functional, practical details, to sizes, colors and materials, we’re always looking to innovate on the designs that best suit your life and style.

If you're looking for a travel-ready women's bag option, you can't go wrong with something functional like a crossbody bag or backpack. Our crossbody bags give you hands-free ease whether you're exploring a new city or checking out a local market. The Edie Italian leather bag is our signature crossbody bag for women, and it's available in an array of colors from neutral to vibrant. It's crafted from high-quality Italian leather and is the perfect day-to-night accessory. Plus, it's roomy enough to fit all of the essentials (like your lipstick, wallet and phone charger), yet small enough to feel like you’re carrying nothing at all.

If you do need something larger, a backpack might be just the thing—whether your style is sporty or more polished, there's something for everyone. And, of course, for longer journeys, check out our selection of women's luggage at J.Crew. You'll find an assortment of soft luggage, including duffels, belt bags, totes and even pet carriers.

Shopping for the perfect everyday women's bag? We love the roomy size of a tote bag—it's perfect for commuting to the office, packing up groceries or heading to yoga class. And with styles in leather, cotton, nylon, rattan and woven straw, there's truly a bag for every occasion. We especially love straw bags for women for those warm days spent relaxing at the beach or lounging by the pool. Our market tote is spacious enough to carry your beach towel and your favorite book along with any other essentials.

Heading to the pool bar or a destination wedding? Add some texture to your outfit with a rattan clutch or woven shoulder bag. And while we're on the subject of clutches, these bags for women are essential for weddings (and every special occasion). They add the perfect finishing touch to any evening outfit. And with colors like black, red, blush, navy and gold, you're sure to find a clutch that matches your outfit, or complements it perfectly.

When it comes to color, our selection of women's bags spans every shade of the rainbow. You'll find plenty of bags for women in versatile neutrals, as well as brighter, bolder shades of red, pink, blue and green. Want to add a pop of print to your outfit? You can't go wrong with a striped or patterned women's bag.

J.Crew also carries women's bags from some of our favorite designers and brands, like Bembien, Aaks, Kayu, Ame & Lulu and so many more. Check this page often for new styles, trends, patterns and colors—we're always adding to our selection of bags for women so there's something for every season and occasion
