First time J Crew toothpick jeans purchase
March 2, 2024As the title of the review says, this is the first time I've purchased jeans from J Crew, so I nothing to compare it to. Also, I haven't worn and washed the jeans yet, so take that at face value. When I tried them on, they fit perfectly. I should mention that I have trouble finding jeans that fit me well. I take after my mother's side of the family -- the Italian side -- so -- nice wide-ish hips, skinny legs. This configuration can make finding a pair of jeans that fit well nightmarish. Anyway, they weren't tight, but they weren't baggy either. They're high enough so that there's no muffin top (ha ha). I'm actually impressed! The fabric seems thick enough; I didn't see any visible panty lines but hey, they're white so maybe in the bright sunshine you might. They go perfectly with the navy-blue Irish linen shirt I purchased as well. Navy and white are a color combo I adore. Anyway, I'm relieved they fit well because I got them on (clearance) sale, and they are not refundable. I lucked out. I think I will be purchasing J Crew toothpick jeans in the future. (I don't care what people say -- skinny jeans will never go out of style for me!)

skinny jeans
March 2, 2024as a tiny woman, I always prefer to wear straight or slim fitted jeans. the j-crew toothpick fits right for me and white is always good for warm days. as expected, this pair fits true to size.

best white pants I've found
June 29, 2022I do love the fit and look of these white pants. I love the rise! The white and the weight of the pants is perfect. They do stretch out when you wear them but I feel that's just white pants in general. Also, they do run true to size. I ordered my regular size and the fit perfect!

updated fabric
March 15, 2022I have had two pair of these jeans and have worn them over and over for the past several years. I decided it was time for some new ones and while they are still much better than most white jeans, they seem to be thinner and somewhat see-through. They were perfect the way they were so I don't understand why you felt the need to change the fabric. Still good, just not as good as before.
